Nice write up man, yeah I totally love the city scenery in this movie. It's always nice to see ninjas in an urban setting.
This movie is perfect for your home theater, and it is currently on Netflix for anyone that wants to watch it.

Finished watching it, here's my thoughts:
"A film that could have been fun due to the filmmakers not holding back on the violence and gore, is ultimately ruined by one of the worst and most generic plot-lines imaginable. The choreography is nothing great as they cut way too much. I can forgive that though when they have fun gory effects. The gore fluctuates in quality, sometimes it looks great, other times bad. What absolutely ruins this movie however is all the awful decisions the filmmakers included in the story. No matter how many cool action set-pieces you have, it will be watered down to shit when you include extremely forced romances and lame-ass police interactions. I roll my eyes so hard that I hope they will roll over forever so I do not have watch another flashback where the main character has a romantic relationship with one of the ninja students only for one of them to die completely expectantly. Also, this movie must have gone to Alien vs Predator's school of story writing as they have that terrible trope of "normal" humans getting stuck between a fight between ninja clans. It is just awful. Police officers have nothing to contribute in a film about fucking ninjas in the same way arctic explorers have nothing to contribute in an Alien vs Predator conflict. There was potential in this film, no doubt, but it might as well have had no writers and it would have been a better experience." 2/5, kinda shit.

Ah sucks that you didn't like it Balder. That was quick though. To me this movie is popcorn fan. It doesn't try to be serious, or deep in any moment at all, it is all about Ninja looks, and gangster stuff, which is its strength. It's the kind of movie you want to turn the lights off, run your surround, and chill back. I really like the visual effects, the shameless use of ninja clichés, and his determination to cut his enemies. The action is almost non stop, and watching the cops having a chance to retaliate was fun as well.

Ah, how quick Balder can watch a movie when it comes up.
So, how about Commando?

The thing about Commando is that I know it's pretty damn good even though I haven't seen it. I always save really great movies for special occasions, and then knock out hundreds of movies that aren't that special whenever I have time. Commando is an extraordinary case though, as it's not only a great movie, but it has achieved some kind of mythical status seeing as my review of it is highly anticipated. I honestly believe cobretti would never respect me in any situation again if I don't give Commando a perfect 5/5. So I'm keeping the suspense for know. I could watch it at any time though. It could be today, tomorrow, next week or next year. Who knows?

Ah sucks that you didn't like it Balder . That was quick though. I did enjoy watching it though stratogustav. I watch so many movies that even the ones I don't particularly like becomes fun watching. It had some good parts definitely. I said I was watching it tonight, but I found some free time sooner than I thought. When films are so easily available, I tend to watch them immediately.
