Oh boy omega boost now that is a good game and overlooked. I recently sold off a lot of my ps1 games that I owned and this is one of them I just had to keep. From what I played of it I enjoyed it and thought it was great.

I had been playing my Samsung Gear VR more lately. I don't have PS VR yet, but after seeing footage of games like Rez Infinite and Rigs, I feel this game would be perfect to have a comeback, specially now that Polyphony has experience with the technology making Gran Turismo Sport. It would just be awesome to see this again. Plus it is one of the best exclusives too.

I love this game.
I played the demo on a PlayStation Magazine demo disc back in the day and as fast I could find a copy I bought the full version.
I'm still a bit confused and disappointed that the full version lacked the image gallery that the demo had, with concept arts and such.
As good as Panzer Dragoon is on Saturn/PC/etc. and as much as I love that game this is the true Panzer Dragoon killer as far as I'm concerned, though with Orta on Xbox it's a tough match, if only Polyphony had made a new Omega Boost for PS2 it would've (most likely) been an easy win.

I've never played this game. Maybe I should check it out though.

Now that's a great choice! I haven't finished it (should play it again in the future), but I loved what I played. Armored Core Raven 's comparison to Panzer Dragoon is apt, since Omega Boost's lead designer worked on PD Zwei. I don't quite agree with it being a PD killer - I still prefer PD for its story and art style. But man, does it do a good try at it! The game is really great. I like how it's an on-rails shooter with some degree of freedom of movement and circle-strafing, it does a really great combination of both. CGR already did 3 videos on it, so it's fair to say this is one of Mark's favourites:

Yet another week of a game I have never had any experiece with. Same here, but that's how these things are. Sometimes it's a well known one, and other times obscure ones. But after we had Oregon Trail I'm not going to argue anything too obscure anymore since that was a very well known game after all.
