That trailer looks awful. Nicolas Cage sounds like Forrest Gump. I take it that the movie is far better than the trailer, since everyone seems to like it here.

David Lynch is my favorite movie director, but he's certainly not for everyone. But I feel that Wild At Heart is one of his most grounded movies. It's still pretty weird, but it doesn't have that much psychological artistic stuff that he's so well known for. Cage does his best performance ever here, and Willem Dafoe does his most creepy one. It is filled with intrigue and includes some hilarious characters that you just gotta watch. Even if you don't like Lynch's movies, I think most people can enjoy this. Has no one else seen it, but me?

I haven't seen it, so I can't say much, but I avoid Nic Cage movies. Because he's not good. Cage is one of those actors who makes me scratch my head and wonder how he got such a good agent. Like Jessica Alba... but at least she's pretty. There's no reason Nicolas Cage should be in so many movies. So much talent out there and yet we keep seeing the same losers over and over. Makes me wonder. The trailer is bad. The movie looks bad. Balder should be ashamed of himself. |
