How are you guys not talking about this?! Guys! First things first! This is super disappointing!  Now that I got that out of the way, I'm super hyped for a bunch of those games! And a bunch of those aren't even exclusives! How could I possibly have imagined that I would ever be thankful for KoF14 having that horrible, horrible engine that made it look like a Ps2 game for a while? For some reason I'm looking forward to SNK's next fighting game the most out of all those titles. I believe it's because it's 2 on 2 rather than 3 on 3. But I love customization and our goddess Athena too. Now Mario Tennis being developed by motherfucking CAMELOT finally! Holy crap! This takes me back to when I asked my parents a N64 so I could play Mario Tennis! And much later I got the GBC game and I loved it too even though it wasn't nearly as good and intuitive. And to add to that we continue to get enhanced ports, which is really good, and Donkey Kong Country is usually really good. Yeah. Good stuff. What were the highlights for you guys? Hell, there are games there that we know aren't exclusives, so a bunch of you who didn't choose the Switch just got a few spoilers for what's coming in the next few months too. |

Man, that Heroine fighter is cool. A brand new fighter from SNK with all the babes. It doesn't get better than that. I'm so excited. I didn't even know there was a direct today. Thanks for letting us know.
I'm also happy for the people that doesn't have a Wii U will now be able to play Hyrule Warriors and Tropical Freeze. Those games are both excellent.
The Dark Souls Remaster is something my brother will be happy about too. He has been asking for that for ages. Maybe that will finally convince him to buy a Switch. He already loved Breath Of The Wild when he played it on mine, so now it should be a no brainer for him to get one. Plus he wants to start the new Master Quest mode on Zelda, and barely comes to visit.

How are you guys not talking about this?! I think the better question is, why didn't you post this to the Nintendo subsection?! I'm excited that we're getting more quality Wii U games (where's Mario Maker at tho) and Dark Souls as well. Overall, just positive news. Beyond the lower price, collectability, and Wii upscaling, I'd say teddykongcountry and centipede are running out of reasons not to buy a Switch over a Wii U right now... |

Did they say anything about Melee? What didn't they say? Melee, wave dashing, art direction, Paper Mario. This was pretty much the Nintendo Direct aimed at getting MeleeMaestro to pick up a Switch! j/k. Sorry man. There was a lot of stuff I'm looking forward to in there, but not much I can see you being enthused about. I do hope we get some Gamecube games on the Switch down the line, whether it be virtual console or under some other banner. Melee isn't at the top of my list, but it would certainly be nice to have it portable. Sadly this was not the day for such announcements |

Gotta add here that a new mini-Direct has been rumoured to go live on this Thursday, while a larger Direct may take place in February.
