Just hours ago I bought Far Cry 1 & 2 off of GOG.com and when I finished downloading Far Cry 1 and started it up I noticed the map editor didn't come packaged with it like it did on my physical copy. Is there a reason for this??
This sucks, because the main reason I bought Far Cry 1 was for the map editor. What a load of shit.

So, is their version working? I remember all the trouble you went through with the disc version. Yup, works like a charm. Runs smoothly on high settings and framerate drops are extremely rare (and I'm not running it in compatibility mode, either). Great game! Very challenging, though. I don't understand why everyone hates the trigens. They add a great amount of variety to the game. |

Spirit Bomb - Nice!  It's a very challenging game indeed. Just a hint: don't play this one on hard mode. It will seem doable for most of the time, but the very last level can easily leave you in an unwinnable situation.

Cervantes I've heard many people say that even normal difficulty is too hard (at least the last level anyway). I'm currently playing on easy and I've noticed that the trigen can kill you in just two hits most of the time, even if you have body armor. Personally I don't mind though. It makes the game feel more realistic.
