Return of the Living Dead is already on my to buy list anyway. James from Cinemassacre has it on his top list of movies I think. I got it on Blu-Ray. Don't think about it, buy it. It might come close to Evil Dead II in the best horror comedy department. BTW the list has been updated. I can confirm that, the movie is really good. Also, the basement zombie is gross and awesome, and it seems Resident Evil 7 based its creatures on it (at least on the demo the zombie I encountered looked a lot like that). Don't forget that this movie was directed by Dan o'Bannon, writer of Alien. I find the sequel to be too slow, though. It has some good moments, but the first one is the best.

I saw him in the documentaries on the Alien BD set. He seemed like a really cool guy. What I think is a shame is how Riddley Scott have retroactively taken all credit for the first Alien movie it seems. In every interview about Alien is how HE created the Alien universe. In reality it was a team effort with Giger, Scott and o'Bannon in the lead.

Balder - Well, the new Alien movies are all Ridley Scott and they suck, so that shows how important the other people were.

An underrated movie monster.

Another one struck of the list (Rock n Roll Nightmare):
"Good soundtrack and scoring, everything else was just shit and terrible. All of the effects are practical, but instead of being cool or charming, they just end up looking cheap and lame. Not really a horror film either since it does not even try to be creepy. A really meh film." 1/5

Do you not feel the power of heavy metal? Talking about that, I just came back from seeing Cradle Of Filth, all I can say the Filth knows how to bring the Black.

Hahaha, that clip is hilarious. I never heard of that show. I'll have to check it out. The first time I heard from Cradle I was still in school, I remember seeing a viking talking in the beginning of the video and I thought it was pretty cool. I also liked how Danny the singer kind of sounds like Frieza from Dragon Ball Z. Black metal was new to me. I heard of Immortal, Dark Funeral, Emperor, and Satyricon, but they never called my attention. Cradle Of Filth, Old Man's Child, and Dimmu Borgir were the first ones in the genre that I legitimately liked. I never understood why people that liked these bands felt compelled to dress goth though. To me it was just another genre of music, like genres for movies. I would listen to Samael, but I would also listen to Tiësto, and Paul Van Dyk. Maybe that's why. By the way Danny has a lot of gestures in concert similar to Heath Ledger in his role of the Joker, he reminds me a lot of him nowadays, he didn't before, he doesn't smile, but he is a cool dude for sure. The whole band are excellent performers.

To me, goth style is completely different than black metal corpse paint. I always think of Robert Smith when I think of stereotypical goth style. Interesting observation, I never thought of those differences until you mentioning them. In terms of genres Black Metal and Gothic Metal are very different too. Gothic bands usually have female lead singers like Nightwish, Epica, After Forever, Tristania, Sirenia, Xandria, Lacuna Coil,..., while black metal bands are all guys that look like Kiss. Cradle has a few examples of both genres together, that is why this song is more slow paced. It has Cradle Of Filth, but also the lead singer of Leave's Eyes singing along. However goth singers also participate in other genres. For example we have the lead singer from Within Temptation making a very famous collaboration with Armin Van Buuren in the Trance music genre.

It's been a while since my last update, but I'm still at it. Here's Hard Ticket to Hawaii:
"Kind of shit, but in an entertaining way. One cannot help it but have a good time watching blonde babes acting as agents and rocking a missile launcher. Ridiculousness is one way of describing someone blowing up a sex doll with a rocket, another way of describing it would be awesome. Still, the movie is pretty bad. Why did it include a dangerous snake plot again? Who knows." 2/5
The video on YouTube was a little weird. The movie is only 96 minutes and the video lasts for over 2 hours. It's weird as the full movie is there, with half the movie being repeated. I was at first overwhelmed with it being 2 hours and 20 minutes.

There was a really good classic softcore movie I watched on YouTube recently that looped like two and a half times. Weird, but I’d rather her that than sticking the movie in a small window like you see on some. I’m sorry I’ve been lax in updating the list. The weather is starting to finally break around these parts so a lot of my free time has been eaten up by rehabbing my yard. I’ll try to find some more of the good shit this weekend.

Films on YouTube that are messed with all kinds of effects are unwatchable. I still got ways to go on that list but I'm getting along. Cool to see it getting expanded.
