Getting closer and closer on finishing this list, here's Phoenix the Warrior:
"People often say this is a Mad Max movie with women, and I can definitely see the connection, but beware this is a Mad Max with women, but without any cool vehicles (which to me is what makes Mad Max movies awesome). This movie is still an enjoyable watch though. Lots of scantily clothed women killing each over for the last males on Earth. It is a pretty hilarious concept. There is a lot of action, but it is sloppily executed (most of it looks like the Star Trek Gorn fight). Fun enough to watch, but not something I would rewatch." 2/5, alright for this list's standards.

Maniac Cop was one of the best movies in this list:
"This was surprisingly very good, like great actually. The soundtrack is very unnerving, and along with the detailed close-ups and never seeing the killers face makes up for a haunting film. The story is nothing amazing, it is a killer cop on the loose and someone else gets framed for the killings, but the execution is stellar. The violence and gore are both great too. There is not much bad about this movie, it is just really really fun. Nothing groundbreaking, but again, if you are looking for a good time, look no further. I also want to check out the sequels now." 4/5

The list just got 10 feet higher. I had a lot of motivation to finish this list before its anniversary but this is the 3rd time it's been expanded. There's no way I'm going to finish it any time soon. Good thing Dlotn signed on to watch it too. My pain is his suffering. |
