xD I fucking love this. But why isn't there a choice for overpopulation. If Lucifer is the embodiment of evil, then he is obviously the embodiment of overpopulation. And why isn't this more specific? How can we possibly discuss overpopulation and Lucifer if this isn't more specific? And why isn't this about overpopulation? Damn, I hate Lucifer and overpopulation. But why isn't this about overpopulation dammit!

I was obssesed with ancient mythology when I was a kid. The Christian story is the newer version of the same message transmitted by our ancestors through out all ancient cultures, and even astronomy, often times without them having a relation whatsoever or even knowing about each other's existance.

I can firmly say that Satan is in fact Jesus' divine brother. Their real names are Samael and Emmanuel, similar to pretty much all people there, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Michael, etc..

The brothers had a rivalry in terms of wanting to please their Father. The Old Testament makes mention of this ancient story through Cain and Abel and do not present them as if they have anything to do with Satan and Jesus, but their human story works as an analogy to the divine one of the brothers.

So I'll put it in simple terms:

- Samael only wants joy and compromises between all humans, he wants them to experience pleasure and he is a big advocate of free will.

- Emmanuel wanted humans to experience pain, suffering, and sacrifice. He stated that only through death humans can learn the divine. Love is the essence of the divine and in a world with no suffering, love cannot be learned, but through sacrifice love is inevitable and you can't even choose it, it is given to you.

He claimed that he would even go the extra mile of experiencing for himself all this pain pain, suffering, death, and sacrifice, by coming among humans and living a mortal life, and experiencing a painful mortal death.

The Father for some reason was pleased with Emmanuel's proposal more and Samael became upset and left with a third of their world's population. You have to remember that Samael was a high prince, and had a lot of influence in that world, kingdom, realm, planet, whatever you want to call it.

Samael was the closest to God, he went through the ranks from the most basic to the highest in their heavenly own form of a military complex. This is why he has so many names depending of what transformation and rank he was at. Apparently he was beautiful too. So when the Father liked Emmanuel's offering more, he was very upset.

Taking all that into account, if overpopulation brings suffering then I would say that ball is on the Jesus side because the more suffering the more that situation can cleanse our pain through love.

In a perfect world like the one Lucifer wanted, no one would care for each because you will never miss them, and no wrong would happen to them, so there would be no sympathy, empathy, mercy, forgiveness, and everyone would be extremely self centered.

By the way, Satan knows there is a flaw in Jesus' plan. Through knowing death is ahead one can learn to love oneself more than others. This is why Christianity most important rule is to love each other as you love yourself. But the whole reason why this flaw exists is supposedly to give everyone a reference of how to love each other.

This is why suicide is also a massive sin in Christianity, as that basically makes Satan win by default.

Excellent suggestion. That book is amazing. It is high fantasy, a "parable" you can call it, but it still shows John Milton was well versed when it comes to know about the ancient world.

Since we are mentioning Milton we can also mention Alighieri. Some people say he looked like Stallone when he was young, just like Pope Gregory the 9th, and he still couldn't get back Beatrice. This is indeed very suspicious.

By the way, Doré was a boss depicting their works. When it comes to artstyle, Doré is one of the coolest.
