Rambo: First Blood Part II is the best Rambo movie ever made. Even better than Balder's favorite Rambo movie, Rambo: First Blood Part I. The first thing that makes Rambo: First Blood Part II superior to Rambo: First Blood Part I is the body count. Rambo on killed one person in Rambo: First Blood Part I, and that was by accident. In Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo killed 75 people. Thats 74 more people killed in Rambo: First Blood Part II than Rambo: First Blood Part I. Second, Stallone's physique was extremely powerful in Rambo: First Blood Part II with bulging biceps and powerful pectorals. In Rambo: First Blood Part I, we didn't really see any of Stallone's physique. And when we did, it was clearly less powerful than it was in Rambo: First Blood Part II. Third, Rambo: First Blood Part II had a babe. Rambo: First Blood Part I did not have any babes. Rambo's babe in Rambo: First Blood Part II was pretty cute. Too bad we didn't get to see her nude, but this is a family movie. Then there was a guy who exploded. Its not often when a movie makes a guy explode, but a guy exploded in Rambo: First Blood Part II, and that rules. No one exploded in Rambo: First Blood Part I. Overall, Rambo: First Blood Part II rules. I can see how Balder hates it because Rambo rescued the troops and its well established that he hates the troops, but for the rest of us who love America, Rambo: First Blood Part II will make us all proud to be Americans. |

Overall, Rambo: First Blood Part II rules. I can see how Balder hates it because Rambo rescued the troops and its well established that he hates the troops, but for the rest of us who love America, Rambo: First Blood Part II will make us all proud to be Americans. I love your perspective man; I really do. However, this is a cheese fest. That isn't necessarily a bad thing (I love cheese, and I love mindless fun.) , but the first one was excellent. I actually wish they stuck with the original ending from the book.
It was tragic, dark, and fitting. Now, before you say, "Then there wouldn't have been any sequels!" you definitely could have had the son of Rambo play this role. Hell, you could even have had Sly do it and say that he was his twin brother. The original Rambo was close to a masterpiece. Nothing compares to it for me.

You basically wrote down most reasons why First Blood Part I is superior. dschult3 is right, the first movie is unmatched. Though I haven't watched any of these movies in almost 10 years, I still know the first one is the best. I should rewatch them all to rate them.

Though I haven't watched any of these movies in almost 10 years, I still know the first one is the best. I should rewatch them all to rate them. I never said Rambo: First Blood Part I was a bad movie. Its a Rambo movie and it stars Stallone so it rules by default. It’s just Rambo kills more people and blows more shit up in Rambo: First Blood Part II so it rules harder than Rambo: First Blood Part I. |

Look, I’ll give you this, Commies really aren’t people, so the human death toll was actually zero (killed by Rambo, anyway). But Rambo didn’t kill any commies in Rambo: First Blood Part I, just one piece of shit cop. In Rambo: First Blood Part II, he killed 75 commies, so the second one is still better. |
