I thought we'd talked about THIS here already for some reason, but couldn't find a thread. Basically a neat adapter for the Switch to allow you to use a vertically aligned screen the Joy-Cons attached. Useful for games list Ikaruga or various arcade ports like the Namco Classics that support that screen setup. The Kickstarter page has a list of supported games. Basically without something like this, you'd have to disconnect your Switch from the Joy-Cons and prop is against something to play with a vertical screen setup. Here' s some demo videos. (Note: The second video was in portrait mode, which is inherently terrible, but was apparently at the request of the Kickstarter backers. For $12 American + shipping, that's not too much of a risk. I think I'm going to order one.

Excellent idea. I mostly play on TV mode, so I had been looking for ages to find a mount that could flip my 65 inches TV vertically, but no luck so far.
I tried using the vertical mode for Dragon Blaze on hanheld mode, and my surprise was that the only way to make it happen is to start a 2 player game, allow the player two to die, and then continue to play with the bottom Joy-Con.
The main issue here is that in order for that to work you cannot put your Joy-Con all the way in or it will cancel the 2 player game. It is not worth it. This Kickstarter solution is fantastic. What a great idea.
I would imagine it should be cheaper in Canada. You guys usually have better shipping deals. I would definitely get one as well. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like shipping is a static $3 US worldwide, so not too bad. Yeah, taking a brief look it does look like there are mounting options to have a TV vertical all the time, but I'm not seeing any where it would rotate back and forth. Might just have to get a second 65 inch tv for vertical mounting

I still have high hopes I'll find one someday.

It's a kewl concept fer sure, but game support seems pretty sparse, with the highest profile one being Ikaruga.
I still lack a Switch myself so I don't quite fall into the audience demographic anyways, but you'd think Nintendo would get on to doing something like this for themselves eventually if the relevant library grows.

I don't know why Nintendo didn't make this a standard feature, since it could even ease ports of DS/3DS games (with a line dividing the screen in half to simulate the dual screen configuration), besides the arcade ports.

leaon79s, All the Psykio games are high profile too. The NS has been getting many of them lately and they are all awesome.

This will definitely be cool for the arcade archives.

Got this in the mail last week, and it is definitely pretty cool. It will get some use. For horizontal hand-held Switch use, THIS has been my go-to grip for a couple of months now, and I'm really liking it as well.

I was thinking about this last week when I was playing Gunbird 2. I should order it already. I mean I can really use it.
