Has anyone heard of this variation of the Everdrive?
I think the add ons are similar to what the Super Nintendo CD add on would have done. What they can do is awesome, but this is priced out of the market. Why the hell would anyone ever purchase a $200 Everdrive? At this price, it will forever remain a product for a niche market. It is a shame too, because this is a great product.

I imagine they charge that much because they feel they can get away with it, and they probably do. The Super Nintendo is still a hot seller after all.
I'm honestly satisfied with my SNES Classic, the experience is so similar to the real thing that I don't notice the differences at all, even if they are there. Plus I can add all the games I want from the library. In fact, I could even add NES, Master System, and Genesis games if I wanted to, but I like to keep it with Super Nintendo games only.

It may cost a lot due to the fact that there isn't any form of mass production going on. I know some of these (the Atari Lynx version comes to mind) are made by one or two people. This thing seems popular though. I just can't justify throwing down that amount of cash.

It's official, it's 80 bucks, you can add the entire library at no extra cost, and girls think it looks cute when they enter your room.
