Majority of nintendo games are vastly overrated. I like games like Pokemon and mario but even then I feel that they are overrated. Pokemon is pretty much always the same thing. Get a Pokemon, go on a journey, take down the gyms of the region and become champion. All while stopping a bad guy Pokemon team from whatever they are doing. Yes they might add different gameplay elements but the whole concept of the game is still the same thing as always. I found Pokemon rom hacks to be more fun even if a lot of them aren't complete. As for zelda and mario I would rather play witcher 3 then zelda. Mario is still fun though and I like mario kart because that is fun to play with others. No one will give a shit if we got a remaster of GTA 3, Vice City or Black Ops 2.  |

Nintendo games aren't over rated at all. I would say other wise. Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword and Mario Sunshine get Lukewarm reviews when in reality they're far better than any game in the genre. Nintendo games have always been consistent in its high quality. Mario games are the best platformers of all time. Zelda games are the best adventure games of all time. Mario Kart's are the best Kart games of all time, Mario Party games are the best party games of all time. Metroid and Prime are some of the Best games of all time period. Not to mention Smash, Star Fox 64 and F Zero X. When you look at history you could really see how well Nintendo games hold up. No one will give a shit if we got a remaster of GTA 3, Vice City or Black Ops 2. But people are going crazy over for the Mario 3D collection for the Switch for good reason as they did with the remasters of Zelda Ocarina and Majora's Mask for the 3DS . I would rather take fallout new Vegas, witcher 3, crash bandicoot, and jak and Daxter over Mario or Zelda. Why would anyone care about people going nuts over some Mario 3d collection? The only people who go nuts over that stuff are the fans of Nintendo. Also I don't think you realize how many fans of gta there are out there. People would definitely buy a vice city remastered or gta 3 remastered if they came out. gta 5 alone has sold 135 million copies. not to mention how much money Rockstar has made off of that game and its online component. I cant even touch a Zelda game because they bore the absolute crap out of me. Fighting games aren't really my thing. I basically just mash buttons until I win if I play them. I do like Mario kart though love that series. Why does anyone care about cod anymore? I haven't cared for that series since the ps3 and 360 era. First of all this isn't about what you like. personal opinions do not reflect the actual outcome of a situation. I personally thought any GTA game after Vice City was shit. Does that make it so?. No. I personally thought The last of Us was absolute bore fest. Does that mean it was to every one?, No. I like the 2D Sonic games over the 2D Mario games. Does that mean the Sonic games are better?, No. I personally think the Ps4 and Xbone are the worst generation of consoles. Does that mean it is so?, No. And Zelda bores you but Fallout New Vegas doesn't?. And this is the first time i've heard of any one picking Jak and Daxter and Crash over Mario. |

So it also means that those Nintendo games you listed aren't the greatest games ever. I think you are wrong about every gta game after vice city being shit. San Andreas and gta iv were some of the best games of the series but vice city on the other hand I would rate pretty low. The only thing really remarkable about it was the soundtrack. Gta 5 on the other hand, well, I could point tons of flaws with that game and all the things I think are wrong with it. Jak and Daxter at least has personality and humor going for it. As for Fallout New Vegas being boring who in there right mind would think its boring at all? Unless of course you play on console without mods then I can see it being boring for you. The only real way to play that game is on PC. I have like 1400 hours into Fallout New Vegas exploring every mod and inch of the game there is too see. Even after all that there are things I still never realized you could do. It doesn't happen very often but when it does its a real surprise. Maybe I am just not giving Zelda a chance but when I can't figure out where to go next or what to do I lose interest pretty quick. I know I could just go look it up online but I'd want to see if I can solve it myself without help. I loved last of us when I first played it but after I beat it I saw no real reason to go back to it. I know what happens in the end so what else is there really to see? It felt more like a movie the second time I played at it rather than a game. It's about time someone finally came out and said it. The PS4 and Xbox one generation are probably the worst console generation overall with just how many problems this gen has. You could solve a lot of these problems though if you took away online play. Maybe not all the problems but a good majority of them. |

In all fairness Cuphead has the best art style of all time, and I really doubt Nintendo could had pulled like that. So I don't think Nintendo is all that either, but they do have some of the best games ever as well.
