They have a great selection and will continue to expand it.
Plus they are making them really accessible, in terms of how to get them, and even the price.
My respects goes to 1UP for having this ideas that keep the arcade culture fresh.

I just watched a review for the SF2 version. This is awesome! I was thinking about all the possibilities, with a small cheap sensor bar like the one for the Wii we can also get light-gun games in there. These are some of the ones I would like to see in the future: Cabinet 1: 1. Street Fighter Alpha 2. Street Fighter Alpha 2 3. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Cabinet 2: 1. Marvel Super Heroes 2. Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter 3. X-Men Children Of The Atom 4. X-Men Vs. Street Fighter Cabinet 3: 1. Capcom Vs. SNK 2. Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Capcom Vs. SNK 2 4. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Cabinet 4: 1. Mortal Kombat 2. Mortal Kombat II 3. Mortal Kombat 3 4. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Cabinet 5: 1. Killer Instinct 2. Killer Instinct 2 Cabinet 6: 1. Darkstalkers 2. Night Warriors 3. Darkstalkers 3 Cabinet 7: 1. Tekken 2. Tekken 2 3. Tekken 3 Cabinet 8: 1. Virtua Cop 2. Virtua Cop 2 3. Virtua Cop 3 Cabinet 9: 1. Time Crisis 2. Time Crisis II 3. Time Crisis 3 Cabinet 10: 1. The House Of The Dead 2. The House Of The Dead 2 3. The House Of The Dead III Cabinet 11: 1. Virtua Tennis 2 2. Virtua Striker 3 3. Virtua Fighter 4 Cabinet 12: 1. Bangai-O 2. Giga Wing 3. Giga Wing 2 4. Mars Matrix Cabinet 15: 1. Border Down 2. Cannon Spike 3. Under Defeat 4. Zero Gunner 2 I've seen videos of people talking about getting combos like these: Konami: 1. The Simpsons 2. Turtles In Time 3. X-Men Metal Slug: 1. Metal Slug 2. Metal Slug X 3. Metal Slug 3 Nintendo: 1. Popeye 2. Donkey Kong 3. Mario Bros. Capcom 1: 1. Alien Vs. Predator 2. Captain Commando 3. Final Fight 4. The Punisher Capcom 2: 1. Magic Sword 2. The King Of Dragons 3. Knighs Of The Round Capcom 3: 1. Armored Warriors 2. Battle Circuit 3. Cadillacs Vs. Dinosaurs 4. Warriors Of Fate Some are European time exclusives like the Mortal Kombat one, but they will keep announcing new releases for North America this year, and the following ones. They are also releasing at some point bar tops, and cocktail arcade tables. Retailers like Wal*Mart, Target, Game Stop, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Best Buy are all participating, and some have exclusives releases to their stores. I believe the soon to be announced Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man will be Wal*Mart exclusive for example. Wal*Mart is actually the one responsible for lowering the price on all retailers to $299, before they were set to be $399. They already come with everything including the LCD flat screen monitor.

These look really cool. It's funny because I was looking into how to build your own arcade cabinet recently (with something like retro pie). This seems a lot more doable for someone like me, who doesn't have a lot of dough to spend or a lot of craftsmanship skills to work with. My only beef is that it uses an lcd screen but you really can't knock it for something like that, as expecting them to manufacture brand new CRTs would probably be unreasonable.
The lack of racing games is kind of disappointing though. And since I like the idea of thinking up combinations they could release in the future, I was thinking something like
Sega: Daytona Daytona 2 Scud Racer
or
Sega: Crazy Taxi Outrun Sega Rally 2
I would 100% cop one of these without a second thought if they had a Virtual On cabinet though.

I found the video I watched. He seemed quite happy with it. I've heard the Centipede game will come with a trak ball, and that is awesome. The Gauntlet one will only have 3 joysticks though, so no 4 player action will be had. I think the size was an issue there. Besides that, I can't think of any real problems with one of these!

Yeah, they left it at 3, but Rampage tops at 3 anyway, plus 4 would be tough to fit at 3/4 of the size. The thing is that a Pac-Man or a Centipede cabinet go for $2K to $3K each. These are only $299 each. The controller setups you mentioned are exactly the advantage. Centipede and Millipede have the trackball. While Tempest and Astetoids have the spinners. It really makes these things very special.
