stratogustav Geez, mate! Aren't you afraid of being accused of sexual harassment? I live in Cali where all the SJWs congregate. You would think it makes it hard, but it actually makes it simpler. I guess you can say we have an advantage here. What happens is that girls here like to challenge guys, they like to get into witty conversations about politics, equal rights, etc., so most guys here try to get witty too, and they end up in very serious conversations, sometimes pretty much arguing, and hating each other. Now think about that exact same guy having those witty conversations touching a girl. Of course it is going to be weird. When I come along, I'm out to have a good time, and actually meet people. I mean if you go to the trouble to look presentable and drive from your house you may as well enjoy yourself. I'm not out to outsmart a girl or to make her see things differently, I'm not out trying to change people's mind, to look smart, or to battle them with witty comebacks or whatnot. I'm out to unwind and talk shit. People can see that, people are not blind. You see all these guys going into conversations all serious as if they are about to make a scientific presentation. Of course they are going to get burned. If you just relax, chill the fuck up, and have some good time, you are not going to get into these stupid conversations. When girls realize you are not there to fight them, of course they will go along, no body wants to be a party pooper, instead they want to join. So when every other guy is trying to be witty, but you are trying to be outgoing instead, it is easy to stand out. Never you will run into trouble because people know you are not there to win a fight or to look smart, you are there to socialize, and that makes you part of the group, someone easy to trust they can get along with. It just makes everything simpler. So, in a nut shell, avoid debates. But even if they're not trying to provoke a debate, how do you know they won't scream or tell you to piss off for touching them? They don't have to be sjws.

How do I know they won't scream? Because that would be really weird for them to do. A handshake is a very standard way to meet people. I just like to do double handshakes because they are more playful, but it is not necessary. If right away she likes you, you can tell by her anime eyes, and then you can keep holding her hands or hug her. A hug is actually better. I always make excuses to give girls hugs. She says I work as a teacher, I'm like aw that deserves a hug. It doesn't have to make sense. It's a very quick invite, and then you grab them, you don't just grab them. Also don't make the hug weird, it's a quick thing you can do multiple times as long as you don't make it weird. Also if you have a good voice, if you are loud enough and clear, if you speak normal, not like a beggar, if you make eye contact, basically if you are not weird at all, no one is going to tell you to piss off right of the bat because that would make them weird. As long as you act normal nothing is going to happen because they don't want to be weird. It all comes down to always be in a good mood, to never do anything that feels forceful, act normal, and most importantly unwind and actually enjoy socializing to people. This is the most important part, if you are not enjoying yourself then no one is going to enjoy your company. You must always put yourself first, how you feel, before you care about others, but you do both.

So you've never had a girl tell you to piss off because she felt like it.

So you've never had a girl tell you to piss off because she felt like it. Yeah, if you are in high energy places like clubs sometimes you will end up meeting some crazies bitches. Usually these places are better to meet hotter girls because they feel more protected in that environment. When something like that happened before I used to just laugh it off and move to next, but soon I realized it was just a front, like a self defense mechanism, because girls are mostly sex addicts and they know anyone can fuck them if they try hard enough, so they put obstacles to prevent this, bitchy behavior is just one of those fronts. There are others, like acting super educated and formal, that can also be a front. Once I realized this was just a front, I figured out that if you stay normal the whole time and you just don't bail, then the girl will drop those fronts sooner or later because she will feel like the weird one, and that's not a feeling girls like to have. Just act as if you expect she will be normal and she will sense that from you and she will want to act accordingly. I think this is where all those cliché advices on socializing come from, like the be yourself advice. I don't think that's a good advice for a lot of people because a lot of people don't act naturally in the first place, they are also always putting a front, a personality that is not them, that it doesn't feel real or authentic, instead it feels rehearsed and like trying to impress. If you do that in a social setting you will also get a fake front from others. So put your real authentic personality on the line, and people will respect that, and they will also act normal themselves. It will be easier for them to trust you to. A lot of girls don't leave with guys because they just don't trust them because this front they put. If you drop that, she will drop it too, and you won't have to worry about that kind of stuff anymore.

Because of, you know, the implication. (I would suggest that you seriously consider that, hey, maybe the girl isn't open to "anyone" - or, hell, she *maybe*, you know, isn't even intending to have sex with anyone - and, more specifically, that whatever her behaviour is, it isn't just an "obstacle", but a reaction to a real sense of discomfort. But what the hell do I know.)

But what the hell do I know. A front is not an obstacle in that sense, it's more like a strainer girls use, it's an automatic defense mechanism built often unconsciously to prevent wasting their time on guys that have no business talking to them. About "the girl isn't opening to anyone", OF COURSE, that's the whole point I was making. They know they are vulnerable. They don't want people taking advantage of that, and they have a right to do that. At the end of the day women are human too. Men have this problem that judge women for being sexual. They think it is a bad thing, that somehow sex diminish their value as a person. This is just bushit propaganda, and as a consequence many women are pushed by society to put a face that isn't them just to fit into that narrative. I repeat, women are human too, they have sexual desires just like men, and I would say they are much more intense. You can tell during intimacy, you can see them shaking in joy, and sure we men enjoy sex too, but not as much as they do, and you can clearly see it. I work with nude models, and you won't believe how much crap they usually go through when they decide to work in this field. People they know, their close friends, even their own families reject them. They make them feel bad for being themselves, for wanting to display their own sexuality, as if it is a bad thing for them to do. It is really a shame people think this way, but luckily many women are much stronger than people give them credit for, and they don't allow all that crap to stand in their way, if they have an opportunity to be free, they will take it, and no one can deny to them that privilege. I just noticed the word "obstacle" was misinterpreted, but I assure my intention was not to use it in the sense you are referring to. It sounds to me that you think I think it's OK to bother women, and that you can be totally senseless about it. That's not the case, if anything I'm pointing out that they put these "obstacles", so you don't bother them. Meaning, that once you know that is going on, you can be sensitive about it (which is the opposite of senseless), and instead understand why they do it. If you behave like a real person, I assure you they will drop these shields, that are there only to protect themselves. If for some reason they have things going on outside their power, like they are with their husbands, or something like that. They will let you know like a normal person, and not like a crazy bitch, but it doesn't mean you can't still enjoy the conversation, exchange contact information, that kind of stuff. Remember the whole purpose of going out to these places is to unwind from daily routines and to have a good time socializing, and if you are doing that, you are not bothering them, instead you are adding value to their night, just like they are adding it to yours. Cervantes, I hope that makes sense.

stratogustav - Haha, that makes sense, mate, no worries. I guessed it was mostly an unfortunate choice of words that lead to, you know, the implication.

Obstacle is actually an appropriate word, it is just the way you interpreted it. I do like the implication though, I find it legitimately funny. A Big Lebowski quote comes to mind: "Mr Treehorn treats objects like women, man!" I wish they would have used a more charismatic guy to deliver these lines, many of them are pretty good writing.

Cervantes, Calling the police? Are you implying having sex with women is a crime? We are going to need to build a lot more prisons. I don't hate Jeff Bridges, I just think he is very underwhelming as an actor, but perhaps it is not his fault, I can see his vibe working for other type of roles. His role in The Big Lebowski is just too incongruent for him. Maybe that's just part of the joke, and if that's the case, I would say good job for making fun of everybody watching the movie. The best way I can describe it is like putting Jack Black as Captain America for the Avengers while retaining everybody else of the original cast.

Sounds better than whatever they are doing right now! The problem is that I don't know what movie you like. I actually like Jack Black's acting in Shallow Hall. OK, maybe this, think of Justin Timberlake instead of Stallone in Rambo, and Nick Carter instead of Arnold in Commando. Like that!

I feel like you just don't get the Dude, man. Nah, I get it, what I don't get is why choosing Jeff Bridges when he is way too incongruent for that role. At least he wasn't the only one out of place. I didn't like Julianne Moore for that role either. John Goodman was great though.
