Today I completed my training on how to solve a Rubik's Cube.
I've always wanted to learn how to solve one and it's taken almost a week from when I started learning and practicing to where I am now, and while I'm by no means a speedcuber, I can for the first time in my life properly and consistently solve a cube from a scrambled start to having all sides completed within two to three minutes, given I make no, or at most very few and very minor mistakes.
My top three fastest times as of this post is 2:21, 2:23 and 2:31.
So I'm curious, are there any others in the pub that know how to solve Rubik's Cubes? Perhaps there are even some speedcubers lurking about? How long did it take you to learn how to solve it originally? How long did it take you to learn how to speed solve it? What's your fastest time? Got any tips and tricks?
