Apparently, they've brought it back to stores. I bought one, popped it opened, and I was instantly taken back to 1993 when I first watched this commercial:

Not at all. It has a bit of lime in it, and it is VERY sugary. Sounds pretty bad. Does it taste anything like 7-UP or Sprite? Not really. It is slightly better than SMAP! though. I tried that crap when I was stationed in Japan. It tastes like carbonated Smarties.

I remember them bringing it back last summer. It tastes kind of like regular Pepsi but it’s off somehow. It’s not very good. It wasn’t good in the 90s when they first introduced it.
Look, I get nostalgia and shit, but there is some stuff that we did it need to revisit. Crystal clear Pepsi wasn’t one of them.

Whenever I travel somewhere, I always try something local first. Experience is worth so much more than the comfort of the usual. |
