This week I want to hear your opinions on Jair Bolsonaro, a far-right politician and current presidential candidate in Brazil. What do you think of him? How do you feel about his political beliefs? And about his stances on immigration and race? Discuss!

He wasn't a "victim". The only real victims are the african-brazilians, who are already scraping by on bare-minimum income and probably won't even have homes if this Jair chap comes into power. Haven't you heard of the old saying "you reap what you sow"? And if you're going to summon Cervantes, at least let the other brazilian spidershinobi in on the discussion as well.

Dude, who cares about random pollies, from overseas, who you've you've never heard of? It's not overseas for everyone. Cervantes , any thoughts on this stabbing victim? Dude is a piece of shit and has the most openly violent and racist discourse possible for a human being - things on the level of "black people doesn't serve for anything, even procreation", "I would beat homossexuality out of a son", "You don't deserve to be raped because you are too ugly" (said to a female congressist literally during a debate inside the Congress and nothing happened to him), thinks our dictatorship years were a great thing and we should go back to it etc. Dude is a caricature of Hitler and has a real chance of winning presidential elections, especially after being sttabed by another psycho (he didn't die and is now reaping the popularity). To clarify: Latin America has an awful story of far right dictatorships in the 60s-80s, and recently, inspired by Trump's election, some far right groups are doing everything to get to the power again (a few far left governments, like in Venezuela, being terrible also helped a lot). It's both extremely more violent and stupid than what you would see elsewhere - imagine a group of what you would consider as "latinos" who think of themselves as totally white arians and try to be racists (these people would be the first to be killed by actual nazis). It's that stupid.

More annoyingly, he can't put two words together in a way that makes any sense. Trump's twitter is a greek epic compared to anything Bolsonaro says.
That said, he was just talking about machine-gunning his political oponnents a few days ago, so he was elevating the violent discourses to dangerously high levels; this is the reason why while most people are condemning the stabbing, not everyone is exactly sympathizing with him. In a debate a week or two before, while he was defending giving guns to everyone (lucky him that his attacker only had a knife), another candidate pointed out, quoting a bible verse, that whoever brings a sword must be prepared to be harmed by it. It was kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy. Terrible climate all-around.

A lot of US immigrants live here (WE SHOULD HAVE BUILT A WALL! ) and we also have the largest japanese population outside of Japan. Lately, there is a huge influx of venezuelan refugees. I personally know people from the US, Japan, Argentina, Portugal, Bolivia and Venezuela, and my grandpa himself is from Spain - wow, now that I think about it, I know immigrants from many more places than what I initially thought.

Stabbing "victim"? He wasn't a "victim". If someone plans to take control of a country while rallying against immigrants and blacks like he supposedly does, then he should expect to get stabbed (at the very least). History has examples of what people who talk this way aspire to be. Many people including myself often imagine what the world would be like today if someone had taken out Hitler before he rose to power. That's an extreme example, but you get the idea. I think what's most disturbing is, according to a news article I read the other day, Jair has by far the biggest lead in the polls of any of the candidates (well over 60% if my memory serves me right).

Spirit Bomb - it's only around 20%, not 60. But he will probably go to the second turn (the first turn is with all the candidates, then the second is with the two best); it seems he loses in every predicted second turn scenery, though.

No Hitler = More Stalin and Red Alert (which is an awesome game). Was it an US news article? Man from the country ( Cervantes) has said you are wrong in the previous post so how do I (or you) know you are correct about anything else?

Number one, get out of here with that bratty tone you got all the time. Number two, the guy got stabbed is literally all that I said. In the case where someone gets stabbed, the person with the knife sticking out of them is the victim of a stabbing. There's nothing politically motivated in that statement.
