Since I don't think anyone has mentioned this yet, I've heard that he has a profound hatred of homosexuality. Isn't Brazil supposedly the LGBT capital of the world?
Every new thing I learn about Bolsonaro makes me wish more and more that he would do the planet a massive favor and drop dead.

I don't know if you realize this, but Brazil has been a really violent place long before Bolsonaro took power. I've heard that gun violence unrelated to gang drug cartel activity has historically been rare in Brazil. I mean, I never heard of mass shootings happening there until he took office. If they did happen previously they certainly didn't make global news like they are now. |

It didn't have a Robocop, though. Here in the US we also have a city like Robocop’s Detroit that also doesn’t have Robocop. That city is Detroit. |

I'm not trying to defend Melee here, but I feel guilty in why some people left too. A lot of us were not 100% on the left pace when it comes to politics, and that definitely turned off some people. On top of that I used to get into very long pointless debates about things, I probably still would, but no one would want that, and not all users have the patience Cervantes has for example, so that also affected some. I take that blame, and I didn't want that to happen because I love them all, I wish we were all still together like the family we always were, but you can't always have that, at least we still have very solid people here, and thai something to celebrate. Plus if someone wants to come back they are always welcome to come. Melee is an example of that, he insults people, and he is still here, we delete his offensive posts, but he is still here. Any other forum would have banned him already, but we don't do that because we love each other. |
