Animator analysis of the week: Butch Hartman

I wasn't a fan of Butch Hartman as an adult. I enjoyed his shows as a dumb little kid with no taste in art, but once I matured into an adult his stuff no longer interested me at all, though I didn't know anything about him personally at the time, so I didn't have anything against him as an individual.

...that is until I heard about his recent kickstarter controversy, where he lied to his backers about his intentions until after he had reached his goal of several hundreds of thousands of dollars, when he revealed that it was a part of his religious agenda, despite never having admitted such beforehand. His name was already "Mud" to me the moment I heard about that, but my opinion of him hit rock bottom the moment I finished watching this video:



If you don't want to watch it, allow me to summerize:

-He lacks any empathy for introverts so he simply denounces them as self-centered, terrible people as a result
-He thinks homosexuality and transexuality is a mental disease
-He's manipulative as hell
-He blames the media for everything wrong with today's generation but not parenting
-He's incredibly egotistical and has a superiority complex, despite drawing at a 5th grade level

Butch is AKA one of those YMCA "christian master race" cynical douchebags that less fortunate people (like myself) often fall victim to. I have only had to put up with two christians like him in my life time (both during high school to be specific), but their effect on me was so PROFOUNDLY negative that to this day I still have fantasies about murdering them in the most brutal way imaginable due to how severely they manipulated and patronized me during the darkest part of my life. What I learned from dealing with these assholes is that if you can't empathize with others then you have no right to be critical of them, or throw yourself into their lives.

Manipulative sociopaths are the worst, and Butch Hartman is proof. And on top of that, his beliefs are regressive and he is ignorant as hell. Talk about a triple whamy.
