This week I want to talk about the careers of animators Skyler Page and Chris Savino, creators of the TV shows Clarence (Cartoon Network) and The Loud House (Nickelodeon), respectively.
Both were fired from their above shows due to being convicted of sexual harassment while running them.

Why is it that the american animation industry is filled with nothing but talentless egotists and sex offenders?
These guys are further proof that the american animation scene is a garbage-tier joke. I mean, you never hear about his kind of shit happening in the japanese (anime) industry or the european animation scene.

Off the top of my head, the creator of one of my favorite anime, Rurouni Kenshin, was recently busted for having a shitload of child pornography. What the hell is going on the the Japanese (animu) industry melee?

Spirit BombAnime voice actress Atsuko Enomoto claims she was sexually harassed throughout her first few years after debut, and that sexual harassment isn't uncommon in the industry. Then there's Yutaka Yamamoto who joked on twitter about harassing another anime actress. This wouldn't be so bad if the guy wasn't already known to be a weirdo and had a pervading rumor about him being fired from one of his jobs for sexual harassment. No hard evidence these incidents actually happened, but then again that's the case for most sex scandals so make of that what you will. Then there's the widespread problem of overwork in the anime industry, some of which being: -A guy from the studio A-1 Pictures killed himself due to overwork. -A veteran animator died from overwork while working on Naruto Then there's other incidents like -the Kokoro Connect scandal -Kazuyoshi Yaginuma being an actual nazi No industry is free from scandal.
