For my arcade games, which are the majority of games I play, I use my modded arcade controller thanks to RoyalFlush. Probably the best Modder in the West. He did an amazing job with my PlayTech which is one of the lowest rated sticks in the market, and transformed it into one of the best sticks in the World.
It was painted white with vinyl dye and also has a Neutrik RJ45 port and DPDT switch to swap between the PS360+ and Hori Fighting Commander 4. Lastly, Seimitsud LEDs were installed through a hollowed shaft and around the clear Sanwa Denshi buttons.
It plays GameCube, Wii, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. It is also costume, so it is the only copy of it you will find. PlayTechs are the only sticks made with the buttons so far apart from the stick, which is what I like the most about them. They stopped making them 3 years ago because of the low rating of lacking sounding arcade parts.
Edward said (RoyalFlush) that it is one of the more obscure stick mod requests he ever had because of the "pinball buttons" installed on the sides. For me to play my collection of Zen Pinball 2 tables.
I'm really happy with it, the responsiveness is so good that you can almost breath on it and activate the buttons. This is the best kind of training one can have to become precise when it comes to input commands and pressing buttons.
I did not wanted any design on it because to me simplicity is also elegance. The stick used to be black, but I always wanted a white one. When I play it I enjoy just the simple act of pressing the buttons, a similar feeling I have when I play the electric guitar. It actually feels the same quality as my Ibanez RG.

If you live in California and you need a mod you can find RoyaFlush on Facebook: www.facebook.com/EdwardValdez.RoyalFlush
For almost everything else including PC I use the 20th Anniversary DualShock 4 controller simply because it is the best pad in the market when it comes to design, functionality, and looks. Plus to me it represents the evolution of the SNES pad which was my nostalgic very first controller that I owned.

For my classic games which I mostly own on my Wii U since it is the only place where I could still get them, you know, play Contra, Gradius, Castlevania, Mega Man X, etc.. I bought the Super Famicom controller compatible for the Wii and therefore compatible for the Wii U. It is not a third party controller, this one was made by Nintendo so the quality is original. They made it for their Nintendo Club rewards program in Japan.

For my shooters on rails, you know, Time Crisis, Resident Evil, The House Of The Dead, I use the PS Move which to me is one of the most underrated systems in the last generation. When you play Tennis in Wii Sports and then you play Tennis in Sports Champions 2, you know this thing is not just a gimmick and it actually functions as it should.

For my racing games, since my entire collection is for the PS3 (Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6, WRC 3, WRC 4, WRC 5, F1 2012, F1 2013, F1 2014, Grid 2, Grid Autosport, Dirt 3, Daytona USA, Sega Rally), I still use my G27, which sadly no longer works for F1 2015 for the PS4. However I'm not planning in upgrading it because I love this wheel. Maybe when GT Sport comes out for PlayStation VR I would get a Thrustmaster T500, but the Logitech G27 is all I need right now.

I was never a fan of Guitar Hero even though I can tell is fun, but as an electric guitar player I always wanted a game that would allow me to do that. Rocksmith 2014 let's me do that, it is made by Ubisoft but they did a decent job considering they are Western, I keep my Ibanez for show, but to play I just use my Yamaha, which I always keep at hand in case I want to jam something.
