Yeah, I guess this is the initial release of the collection as well. Releases free to the epic store, and then in a few weeks for I think $40 US on other platforms. I mentioned earlier, but a lot of this seems to be just to drum up interest and a customer base while they're still riding high on that Fortnite money.
It makes sense. One day Fortnite is going to peter out, but a decent online store is worth breaking into. Reminds me of the Microsoft Xbox division. I think it was....near the end of the 360's life before they made a profit. The old 'gotta spend money to make money' thinking.
Features-wise I find I still prefer Steam if I own the game on both, but I'm not going to turn down free stuff. Much the same goes for the Humble Store of GOG as well, though I love GOG's dedication to older games, and I like both for being able to grab a DRM-free copy that I can share. Nice to have all the options.

Bumping for Pathway. Looks like there was some issue with the Escapists 2, but from what I've been able to find, might be added later this week.
Edit: Wednesday now, so not going to be added for this week's games, but Epic has said whenever it does finally get its release on their store, will still be free for a week.
