Yeah, I think I missed out on one or two when they were doing their game-a-day thing leading up to Christmas/New Year's.

That's a nice want. I was hoping for one of those for a while. That series is on the same level of classiness of Doom and Duke Nukem. Thanks for the reminder.

You know VR is so crazy that it makes you like pretty much any kind of game they put out.
At some point VR will have so much field of view that I'm afraid people won't even leave their homes.
Even back in 2015 I was already feeling it. VR hasn't evolved much since then. It has been 5 years, and all we have is more resolution, which is nice.
However when they figure out how to increase the field of view, it will be game over, and it is kind of sad because I feel people will be slaves of the technology.
Probably just a few people at first, but even those are already too many.
I mean, I love the technology and I have supported it since before day 1, and I will continue to love it, but I don't want people to stop experiencing real life to dedicate too many hours to this.
It allows you to have experiences you can't do otherwise, and that will always be cool, but at some point you want to measure how much time you are going to dedicate to it, just like TV, and cellphones.
I say this because I see what the Epic store is doing building their platform, giving away games, and gaining loyalty.
I appreciate it, and I add all the games to my without discrimination, but many of them I probably will never even try.
When this starts to become a thing in VR it is going to be a whole different ball game because VR makes everything interesting. So I can already see that being a problem.
For now I would say let's just at enjoy what we have because more and more we have to fight to not be tempted to give our precious time away to so many things bombarding us from all directions.
