Can’t you just get a sandwich with a bunch of veggies on it? I could, but then I would just be paying for overpriced bread loaf with veggies. Besides, I have to have more calories than that, otherwise it's just going to be nothing but fiber. I'm not overweight so I'm not on a diet. So then the problem isn't that Subway doesn't offer vegan options, because they clearly do.

Bruh dude if you need more calories on a sandwich just have them put a bunch of sauces and oils in it. Olive oil and ranch dressing are loaded in calories.

I suppose I could order that, but I don't see why there aren't more veggie-based toppings like vegemite and beans offered as well as more vegan sides like pasta, nuts, and stuff. I mean, Subway would still charge me the same for a foot-long filled to the brim with turkey and swiss as they would a foot-long loaf of toasted bread slathered with dressing, so there's not much incentive for a vegan to dine there when you think about it. It's just not fair for me to have to pay as much for less. Do you see where I'm coming from? I've tried eating at Taco Bell, since they have a decent selection of vegan offerings, but Taco Bell's quality control is so god awful that I'd almost rather eat out of a garbage can than trust them with making food. Had to add them to my blacklist too. It's a shame too, because Taco Bell is reasonably priced and I never felt like I was paying for less when I ordered their vegan dishes. My advice is just to dine at Qdoba or something similar instead if you want decent Mexican food.

Shits kind of gross to be honest. Are you a Men At Work fan or something?

I'm a Men at Work fan who has never tried vegemite, so as you can imagine I am very eager to eat some for the first time.

If your local grocery store has an international section they probably carry it. However, if I was you I’d temper my expectations. Unlike Men At Work, you do not come from a land down under, where women glow and men plunder. I had vegemite once and it was not pleasant.

We've had Vegemite for generations, starting as early as five years old. Maybe you're better off with the Cheesybite: part vegemite, part cream cheese.

Hey all I’m saying is I don’t think vegemite is very good. But what I’m failing to understand is why vegemite is needed on a subway sandwich when ranch dressing or olive oil will achieve the same thing. We’re talking about something that’s more of a spread than an actual protein substitute.

I don't understand how someone hasn't opened a purely Vegan fast food chain at this point. Seems like a no brainier to me. And most of these fast food joints take the piss with Vegan options anyway by charging ridiculous amounts and sometimes more than they do their meat products.
Quarter pounder? 3.50. Vegan Burger 5.50. why is that?. Surely it costs way less to make a all veggie burger than using meat products. the Hare Krishna temple gives out free food in abundance to the poor and homeless and they claim they could do so because it barley costs them anything because it's all Vegg.
Armenia has Vegan food joints which are becoming very popular because of the price they sell their products which they can do at a low price because it's Vegan.

There vegan options have been greatly expanded just in the last couple of years though. If there ever was a time to be vegan, it's now.

And what i mean is why not make a fast food joint that serves nothing but Vegan food. I mean Subway came about from riding the "healthy option" train. I can't see why some one can't do that with Vegan food.

I meant the health thing was Subways slogan for success which they used right at a time when the whole health awareness era as being the healthy choice over other fast food joints. Veganism is huge today so I can't see how some one can't take that as an advantage and open a chain of fast food joints that's pure Vegan.

Alright, time for another Subway rant.
I just remembered another topping/condiment that Subway should have by now: hummus! Hummus is one of the most delicious foods ever made by man. There's nothing I crave more than a cool glob of pine-nut hummus. Goes great with dipping chips and works great as a spread too. And best of all, it's sustainable.
Hummus, refried bean, and vegemite. Why not, Subway? Subway really needs to get there shit together if they are going to survive in the future. I've read about their financial setbacks in recent times and its only going to get worse for them going forwards unless they start appealing to vegans like me by offering more vegan options on their menu.

You know what I realized? We hear a lot of whining and crying and bitching and moaning from someone who hasn’t even posted his physique.
