Hey everyone! I think that a lot of us around here must have had a childhood, and that means most of us have played Wonder Boy / Monster World before, so this is one cool piece of news! There are some big names working on this game, and if you feel inclined you should click the link in the video to follow to the development blog for at least the interview they have there! But you should definitely stay there for the cute characters, though.

I've been following eagerly the development of this game! I love the Wonderboy/Monster World series (MW4 is one of my favourite 16-bit games ever), and this one looks looks pretty fun! Also, I'm glad they changed their subtitle (the original one was stupid).

It sounds like it will be internally developed by the same people that did the original ones. That means it will be a real Monster game. I have all the Monster classic games for the PS3, so these are great news to me, I did not know about. I will definitely get this when it comes out.

If and when I get a PS4 (as it is proving a strong contender in the console market), Monster Boy is totally going on the download list. That being said, I've actually been stuck at an early cave in Monster World on the Genesis yet I can't help but express interest in the game especially when they're bringing Banjo Guy Ollie in for some of the music.
