I'm planning to get Senran Kagura at some point but I haven't even opened my Onechanbara II copy, so that one may wait.

Thanks for the link. The lack of gameplay is definitely a turn off. I hope they at least have trophies support, maybe that can save it. The strip teases look alright to me. But without much interactivity I can see how that could get old in minutes. If one thing is important about games is gameplay. It is Tecmo so it may be OK, but sometimes when you read reviews like this, it makes you doubt. I hope is not as bad as he portrays it.

Dead Or Alive Xtreme is part of how Dead Or Alive stopped being taking "seriously" by fighting game players (of course DOA4 is the bigger part), so it comes of as surprising that Team Ninja decided to make DOAX3. Now, it isn't surprising, but baffling, that in 2016 a company responsible for some of the best high budget video games out there - specially in this Ps4/Xbone generation - is also releasing a bad porn game.

Which is why I'll give it a chance. I have seen so many reviews speaking negative of some decent gameplay releases, that makes it hard to go by what you hear.
The only person I trust is Mark because he is very honest. I remember he predicting the Wii U turning out like the Dreamcast before anyone saw it coming, and I may like something different only in a few exceptions.
For example I know he didn't like Rumble Roses, but what makes those games fun is the local multiplayer, which is why I don't mind if a game like that lacks the online multiplayer.

Not going into the trust/distrust discussion, stratogustav . I think you just need to look back at the previous games here. Random people saying a game is bad when both previous games have been bad is something to consider regardless of how much you distrust said people. I'm just saying this to keep you from disappointments, there's no reason really to expect something good out of the DOA Xtreme games.

You are most likely right. I'm more likely to hear any of you guys than anyone else.
I haven't played any of the previous versions so maybe that's why I'm giving then too much the benefit of the doubt based on their other games I've played before like Other M, Last Round, Sigma, Sigma 2, Razor's Edge, Hyrule Warriors, etc..
I know for example even Dead Or Alive itself didn't used to be as good as it is nowadays in terms of gameplay, because when gameplay is good I'm always willing to go pass the concept.

Well, Dead Or Alive has always been the second best in my eyes. The real slips were Dead Or Alive 4 and Xtreme Beach Volleyball, not only because those 2 were missing in quality, but releasing a softcore porn game in countries which hate that sex is a part of our lives is suicidal. I don't think DOA3 and previous entries were bad, at least in comparison to Tekken and the lesser 3D fighting games.
No, I don't think any of these series can be compared to Virtua Fighter yet.

I played the first Xtreme game and it wasn't horrible, the volley ball gameplay actually wasn't too bad. The game was really shallow though and more of a time waster in between playing other games. I wouldn't be totally against getting Xtreme 3 but not at full price. I think about $20 at most.

Team Ninja are definitely one of the biggest trolls I've seen. They are trolling casuals that are buying Nioh because the game is Sony published and mainstream, but they are not ready for the difficulty. That game is awesome by the way, you can get costumes that make you look like Hayabusa and even chains that pull enemies in like Scorpion. But then they are also trolling VR owners with this game Xtreme 3 game which has perfectly straight men playing a game of dressing dolls. The game reminds me of Gran Turismo in the sense of the highly addictive collecting aspect of the game, but at least in Gran Turismo it is cars you are dealing with, here they got you with swimsuits. The gameplay is based on quick time events, it has Blackjack, Roulette, and Poker. Basically it is as casual as it gets. The thing is that with me in particular, I like casino and casual games, I work in photography, I love VR, and I love fighting games, these characters are all that. They basically have me by the balls.
