This week, I have a question for the members of this forum: what do you think of former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker?  He was a republican politician who served as governor of Wisconsin from 2011 to 2019. Have any of you heard of him? His politics drew so much contempt among the working class that an impeachment attempt was made against him, but was unsuccessful. I'd like to know what you think of him and his politics. Please discuss. |

I don't think it should surprise anyone here that I hate Scott Walker. But even among our conservatives he was an exceptionally regressive politician. Aside from the usual ignorance to be expected from a modern-day american conservative like being pro-gun, being a climate change denier, etc., he has what I think are the single most contemptible opinions on abortion of ANY politician that I know of. He has gone on record as saying that abortion shouldn't be allowed even in the case of rape, and I have a personal grudge against him for this because a girl who went to my high school got pregnant a year after she graduated, and she wasn't able to get an abortion because of the intense restrictions he imposed against abortions, so she ended up giving birth which prevented her from going to college and pretty much ruined her future.
Fuck you Scott Walker. You have ruined the lives of thousands of women in Wisconsin. You shot down plans for green energy and public transportation. You impeded progress on world issues like climate change, gay marriage, gun violence and abortion. You are scum and I still hate you.
