The world is always a better place when allies work together on a passion project. After playing Xenoblade Chronicles X, I heard that the next Zelda game required help from Monolith Soft with the open world. I knew immediately that the game would be amazing. I wonder what will come next...

I'm pretty sure they worked on Breath of the Wild, so it makes sense that they'd be participating in the next one.

Nintendo has already partnered with Capcom for previous Zelda games, so it's not improbable that they could seek a collaboration with a studio like Monolith for a future installment.
Although I saw a few problems in Xenoblade, most related to the structure of the sidequests, the world itself was very well realized - a Zelda game in a world like that would be a good thing.

What Imperial Khador said. The Xeno people definitely worked on Breath Of The Wild even if they don't make noise of it. It was an important studio Nintendo took from Sony.
