So Microsoft basically just opened the gates for cross-play between the xbone and ps4. I'm super stoked for this, and might actually get an xbone because of it. What do you guys think of this?

LOL! ^^^^^ that photo is hilarious.
Well they have to, NX is on the way and is planning to do it anyway they might as well just get on board. They also have to consider XBox will be becoming a digital brand like Steam, and XBoxes consoles will be just another form of Steam machines, but XBox-centered. It opens up doors for everyone. I like the idea.

I wonder how this will turn out. It wont matter to me since I already switched to PC anyway or handhelds for my next gen needs.

I wonder how this will turn out. It wont matter to me since I already switched to PC anyway or handhelds for my next gen needs. It will affect you since PC and Xbox cross play is already in the works. It's the PS4 and Xbox thing that has not been decided yet. |

Problem is it is FAR easy to cheat with PCs. That needs to be fixed.

My main question is how will having friends from separate consoles work? Can I add ps4 friends if I'm an xbox user? What if two people have the same username across different platforms? What if one person has both consoles? Will they make a unified network for these things?
