I haven't seen the David Lynch adaptation yet, but I own it. Lynch hates it himself because he feels like he sold out and since it wasn't well-received he felt like that movie died twice. Still want to watch it though. My mom liked it and read the book many moons ago. Plus Dune gave the world one of the first RTS's too. I'd really like to give the book series a chance, but maybe after I'm done with college as there is simply too little time and the schedule is all fucked up so I don't have a fixed bed time where I can get some reading done. |

And now Dune 2 is out. I'll watch both of them together when the Blu-ray comes out. Anyone have thoughts on 2 so far?
