This week, I want us to meditate and, through the use of the force, rediscover an old friend from Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace: Jira She was the one who warned Anakin and friends about the approaching sandstorm on Tatooine. Those who knew her personally held her in high regard. She is said to have possessed a warm, jovial personality and was highly supportive of little Anakin Skywalker. But the real question is: what do you think of her? What do you think of her character ark? Should she have returned in any of the sequels? Discuss. |

Most underrated character in the entire Star Wars lore. Think about it: if she hadn't warned Anakin and company of the approaching sandstorm, they would've all likely perished, breaking the plotline of the entire SW saga in effect.
Holy shit, talk about an integral character.
I will probably add a poll tomorrow (or soon), but I just can't think at the moment what it should ask.

Most underrated character in the entire Star Wars lore. Think about it: if she hadn't warned Anakin and company of the approaching sandstorm, they would've all likely perished, breaking the plotline of the entire SW saga in effect. Holy shit, talk about an integral character. I will probably add a poll tomorrow (or soon), but I just can't think at the moment what it should ask. Underrated, really? She predicting a sandstorm is as integral to the plot as me saying you shouldn't drink a container of liquid that has a skull on it. It's obvious and pointless to point out. She's as generic as they come. What do I think of her character arc? She has no damn arc. To have an arc she has to develop. Her development is a flat line. |
