I saw this earlier, and I think they said that you still need the 32X for it to play those games. (Not that there are a lot games...) I guess this would be really cool if you didn't have a flash drive, because you get 3 systems in 1, and possibly 4 in 1 if you have a 32X.

The more ways to enjoy and preserve those precious libraries, the better.

By the way, this "Sega Lord X" channel makes some pretty good videos, definitely recommended to Sega fans.

After I bought a few games for my new Mega Drive HD, I started having buyer's remorse. What I also could have done was bought another PSP, and soft-modded it to play Mega Drive ROMs. It would've saved me money buying cartridges and also saved me inventory space in my cupboard. And now we got a way to play those ROMs and ISOs straight on the system they were meant for. I wonder how this thing would affect the used game market. And I wonder how much easier it will be to release homebrew games, since you can just put your game on a read-only SD card rather than paying for a proper cartridge. But, when the MegaSD comes at that price, it might not be likely. Still, it would save the frustration of buying a game and discovering it has bit rot (::Super Hang On vaporwave plays: .
