I haven't watched this one. I think it was on that list of films suggested by cobretti ( Balder may have written a short review). Is it good? Cobretti hasn't recommended this. I found it myself. It's Rutger Hauer (Roy Batty from Blade Runner), who is the lead character. Take some time and watch this modern cult classic on YouTube. |

"Wow I am really impressed by this movie. It is a perfect modern exploitation/grindhouse movie. It manages to keep it self in check with its self-awareness like a true exploitation film should, while delivering some truly hilarious and grotesque moments. Rutger Hauer is just brilliant, and is perfect for this role (so weird since the only thing I can remember watching him in is Roy Batty in Blade Runner). It is also hilarious to see Rob Wells (Ricky from Trailer Park Boys) make an appearance. The plot is so simple, but the execution is just fantastic. A hobo has had enough and buys a shotgun, what more do one need? Also, the movie has some seriously great visuals. It is very well made. Glad this did not fly under my radar." 4/5

I saw this not too long after it came out. It was before I saw Trailer Park Boys, so didn't recognize Rob Wells in it.
I know a lot of movies with Rutger Hauer off the top of my head: Blind Fury, Wanted Dead or Alive, Nighthawks, Flesh+Blood, Batman Begins, The Hitcher. He was the main reason I watched this movie, and I liked it.
