On my old mixtapes and mixdiscs I have videogame music from games like Battletoads (Entertainment System version), Super Mario Bros. 3 (Entertainment System version), Probotector (Mega Drive and Game Boy versions) and WipEout 2097 (PlayStation version) and music from artists/groups like Tekno Lordz/Tekno Pinnerz, Techno Angel, Axioma, Fusion 19, DJ Tekno, Less Skill, Nuxx, Ghoda, Kaw, Boneymon, Fallout Shelter no 028, Full System Purge, Infected Mushroom and The Grid.
Though I don't use the actual cassette tapes and cds anymore I still listen to the music actively as part of my WinAMP playlist, as I have for the last ~20 years.

No, I have not, but I knew a couple guys that used to do it for fun. Mostly Mega Man tracks, I remember hearing them, and thought it was cool. |
