(the title was supposed to end as "for you personally", spelled properly, but because of the ridiculously small character limit for thread titles I had to compromise)
The Nintendo Gamecube is now historically viewed as being the first Nintendo console to polarize fans with its software library. On the one hand, official Nintendo titles like Super Smash Bros Melee and Metroid Prime were universally acclaimed upon release and are often still listed as killer apps for the system. But then there were first party titles like Super Mario Sunshine and LoZ Wind Waker, which were both highly contentious among Nintnedo gamers, underperformed financially, and were also widely viewed as inferior to their predecessors, Super Mario 64 and the N64 Zeldas.
For this reason I'm always interested in hearing what people have to say about the Gamecube, since I like a lot of people found issue with a handful of Nintendo's first party titles for the system. The ones that disappointed me were:
-Wind Waker -Paper Mario TTYD -Star Fox Adventures -Star Fox Assault
(Looking back now it's kind of shocking how the Gamecube had not just one mediocre Star Fox game, but two! WTF was Nintendo thinking when publishing these Star Fox titles?? It's almost like they were trying to kill Star Fox.)
MY HONORABLE MENTION: LoZ Twilight Princess. I played about 10 or so hours into it, and while I was disappointed by it, I don't feel comfortable talking smack about it since I just didn't spend enough time with it compared to the other games I mentioned.

Those are about right, I was never big into Star Fox anyway, I just don't like furry mascots in general, besides DK, and Sonic of course.
Sunshine is my least favorite Super Mario, and Wind Waker is my least favorite mainline Zelda. That said the GameCube had a stellar library all across.
It almost feels as if the heavy weight of Mario and Zelda were tone down to allow other IPs to rise in quality.
Paper Mario is fine though, all the Paper Mario games are good after the N64 unless you're into RPGs, in that case you may be disapointed.
To make it simple to understand, I don't play RPGs, but I play Paper Mario, that's how optimized those games are for non-RPG fans, which suggest RPGs fans may not like them.
