I have the full game, it is pretty fun, regular controllers are tight, motion needs some getting used to, but fun nevertheless.

Looks like this went live right at midnight. Downloading it now.
It would be nice if they do this with other games, give us a limited time to try out the full game instead of just a demo. Still not quite as good as the 'free as long as you're subscribed' options for Xbox or Playstation subscribers...but, like I said, I'll probably get all I want out of Mario Tennis Aces in a week, and it is still a fairly new game.

So, the free play period for Mario Tennis Aces is over....and what did I think?
Overall, I quite liked it! I played a few hours in adventure mode, and tried some multiplayer with a friend. It was nice that the game was discounted while it was on this 7-day trial, but I think I've played all I wanted.
I kind of hope we see Nintendo do more of this with Switch Online. It is some nice additional value beyond those monthly NES games.
It doesn't quite compare with PSN or Xbox's free monthly offerings, but since you get the whole game to play for a week, it is a lot more depth than a simple demo. Beyond that....I have a lot of PSN+ games that I have never touched, between the Vita, PS3 and PS4. There isn't really any urgency to do so unless it was something I really wanted to play in the first place...
But, by limiting the game access to a week, there's some urgency to try it out during that period. I'd really enjoy seeing them do this with one or two games a month.
If they decided to go with this as a regular thing, they could even rotate the same games in now and then. I still have my Mario Tennis Aces save, so I can pick up where I left off.
