Today is August 14th 2019, and it is the 30th anniversary of the Sega Genesis release in North America.

Apparently the Sega Genesis is a Leo, soon to be a Virgo when the Sega Genesis Classic releases next month on September 19th.

Sega actually flipped the script by the time the Dreamcast came out. The games came to the Dreamcast first, and then to the arcades. They really left the hardware industry with a bang.

Sadly in terms of the West, they took the arcades down with them. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, DDR, and The House Of The Dead series was the last time we saw that market taking the main stage.
