centipede I feel like he's beyond redemption at this point. No one wants/needs zealots in their country, and I'm no exception.

Mel Gibson is a self-indulgent phony just like all the other celebrities in Hollywood, not to mention an abusive lunatic too. I was pleased when he got banned from Hollywood after that public meltdown he had eons ago but it seems like he's made his way back into the entertainment industry again in recent years. Shame. Don't you think it's possible to separate a person from his art and review them individually? Or is it so that you can't stand any movie from Gibson? In that case you're missing out on a lot of great movies.

Hollywood is full of shit people who are higher status than they deserve. But if you generally judge movies by who made them, you will have to be throwing out a lot of DVDs. Just pick the movies you can stand, and leave it at that. But it's all right, lots of people can't stand pretentious celebs, especially the ones who can't stop whining abotu Trump. Weren't they going to leave the country if he won? lawl

It was a great film and (at the time) I enjoyed it (He was also in The Patriot which I saw, didn't like that one though). But I'm not a movie-goer anymore; the only kind of films I enjoy as an adult are animation and documentaries. I ditched all that narcissistic Hollywood mumbo-jumbo years ago because I no longer enjoy it, so it's no loss on my part to pass up anything film-related made by (as in, produced, directed, and/or written by) Gibson. I think the last live-action film I watched to completion was Shame, back in 2015. Good film but there are other things I enjoy doing much more in my down time than watching films. I don't even buy films anymore for this reason; they just sit on my shelf collecting dust.

If you told them to take public transportation or go vegan to help the environment they would through a hissy-fit because it would be "harming their quality of life!". This is why I refer to them as "global conservatives", since they're only moderately less-regressive than our true conservatives and in most ways not much different. I don't side with those pigs. I stand with the world, not America.

My only real problem with Braveheart is how it warps history to fit it's own narrative. This happens with every hollywood movie, but Bravehart in particular is especially egregious. I feel like they could've made the story off of a fictional conflict and the movie would've been no worse. Nobody watches Braveheart for a refresher on the Scottich independence war anyway.

There actually are a ton of live action movies that I adore. I'm particularly fond of artsy-fartsy/special-effects heavy films like The Phantom, Star Wars Ep. 1-6, and others. I just never have the urge to watch them anymore because I remember them well enough and don't enjoy watching films as much as I used to.

Funnily enough, I rented it from my library back in 2012 and gave it a chance. It had some stuff I really liked, some stuff I laughed at, some stuff I didn't care for, and despite all the iconic scenes I haven't found myself wanting to go back and watch it. I guess if you're one of those "looks for a deeper meaning" kind of people then it's probably a classic, but I'm not one of those kinds of people.
