I think the NX might be either backwards compatible, or a bunch of games will be ported at least. Yes, Nintendo has been pretty good about retrocompatibility in their latest consoles. If their next console doesn't have touchscreen controllers, I think it's probable they'll make Wii U controllers compatible with it, as the Wii controllers are compatible with the Wii U. At least that's what I hope, since I'm not interested in the Wii U itself but am very interested in playing some of its games - if the NX is retrocompatible, then maybe that'll be my chance to play Bayonetta 2. I already read something somewhere about the next edition of Hyrule Warriors being both on WiiU and NX. I don't remember where, but it indicates something. |

Allegedly they're porting over Mario Maker and Splatoon, but are having issues with transferring player data.

Being that they openly state they want to get as far away from the Wii brand name, you'd have thought they'd forget about ports
