After watching this, I really started to think about how innovative the Game Boy truly was. Oddball accessories like this were common experiments for the time, and it really does make me respect the system even more. As a Lynx guy, I always trashed it for being technologically inferior, but it does deserve praise for trying.

The PSP had Talkman, which was sort of a pocket translator thay you could attach a microphone to. It also had a camera for its own Skype clone and also Augmented Reality via Invisimals. But nothing practical like a sonar.

The gameboy really had some of the most inexplicable add-ons I've ever seen.

The support for the Game Boy was also one of the best the industry has seen. It took forever to retire the Game Boy. Everyone simply loved it too much. I always say it was more retro than the NES itself.
