Axis and Allies was the first real board game I ever bought (that's excluding board games pretty much everyone else have like Monopoly, Risk, etc.). It's such a step up from Risk. Used to play it every weekend back in high school. I played the global 1940 version, and it takes forever to finish. I played a game of it two years ago. It takes a whole day or two to finish, but man is it a lot of fun. |

My household has been playing a lot of Uno lately. My son got the Zelda edition in September, and we like that deck, because the artwork is great.   We're big fans of Uno Attack as well. Whenever we get together with grandparents and Uncles and Aunts, we play Rummy. In the ancient days when I was a Marine, I'd play Spades until the sun rose. No one plays that around here, and I really miss that. |

Sounds like something Marines stop Sailors from doing on ship. I don't get it. Marines on ships have traditional roles for a long time, two of those are to protect officers from the enlisted and keep sailors from doing "things" they shouldn't. |
