lukefonfabre388 would agree with me. CRTs refreshing is outstanding, and it is sad we aren't there anymore. 240Hz was basically the minimum standard, and even lower refresh rates were handled better because the TV was able to push so much more. Some plasmas were hitting even 900Hz, which is insane. I remember watching one at store and thinking it was a window with scan lines. I wish we could go back to those refresh rates, but the industry worries more about resolution nowadays. Going from 1K to 4K to 8K they are not leaving space for refresh rates to cacth up, and it isba miss opportunity to really wow people what a high refresh rate can do to improve your experience overall. I don't miss the bulky, and weight of those panels, but I sure do miss the experience they provided. I would go as far as to say that Killer Instinct 1994 on the arcades looked a lot more spectacular than Killer Instinct 2014, and that's considering Killer Instinct 2014 already looks cool.

I've got a 27 inch trinitron in the back room of my house. I use it to play consoles like PS2, Dreamcast, GameCube, Wii, and really anything older that is best suited for a SD TV. However I think my trinitron is only 60hz. It does however have different modes of picture choices to suit what your displaying. There's one for gaming, TV, higher refresh rate and a sports mode too.

Yeah, I remember seeing it, and it was excellent. Those are really cool TVs for classic games.
