OH, THE BUGS! And no, I ain't talking about paras or caterpie. I'm talking about glitches.I never realized how absurdly buggy the gen 1 and gen 2 Game Boy Pokemon titles were as a kid, but after reading into a few articles on Bulbapedia I stumbled upon these exhausting lists of glitches in Blue, Green, Red, Gold, Silver and Crystal: Gen 1 games: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_glitches_in_Generation_IGen 2 games: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_glitches_in_Generation_IIHoly shit, this is some Bethesda levels of bugginess right here. I have never seen another JRPG that is this buggy. Where was quality control at Game Freak when making these games??? On the bright side, the lack of polish means that there are a ton of ways to exploit the game, such as cloning pokemon, duplicating items, and even creating pokemon out of thin air: What do you guys think of this glitchyness?

I heard old Pokémon games had ridiculous secrets, I always was impressed with people figuring out stuff like that, no matter the genre.

Can't you 'induce' certain glitches using Action Replay? At least you could do that in the Pokemon games for DS from what I remember back in the day...

It's just hilarious what you can do with these games and there glitches. The list of flaws of gen 1 just goes on and on and on.
