centipede - Interestingly, it seems games nowadays are fairing better on tv shows than films, maybe because it's harder to condense a game that lasts maybe dozens of hours in a film - hence the success of The Witcher and Castlevania on Netflix, while the latest Tomb Raider movie, even though it was based on an entry that had enough story for a movie, was a piece of crap. By the way, I know they keep saying that Witcher isn't directly based on the games, but come on. The show is a bit cheesy (I say it's this generation's version of Xena: Warrior Princess), but that's exactly what makes it nice, I liked it. The fact that Eva Green isn't Yen is plain wrong. |
