spidershinobi I bought the PS3 version of Revelator and the music sounds fine just like it sounds in Sign. I tested it with the TV speakers and with the sound bar and I don't hear anything strange. Maybe it has to do with the 2.5 GB update I had to download as soon as I got the game. On the other hand Arc System Works always has the same sound mixing problems, with Revelator for example the mixing makes me feel like I'm just playing an extra level on Hard Corps Uprising. However the fidelity of the sound is always fine. It is the mixing I don't like, they separate the sounds too much and it cheapens the feel of the game. Revelator has a great soundtrack, I really like it, they just need to hire better sound mixing editors. Why can't they do it at least like Examu does it? I mean it's not Capcom but the mixing is so much better than any Arc System Works game ever made. Examu has that arcade mixing sound anyone would love and it would make Arc System Works games much better.

spidershinobi maybe something is wrong with the tv or your console. I've had no issues with og Xrd sign. He is talking about -Revelator- on the PS3. I have -Sign- on the PS3 and it is flawless, but this is a different game. I don't have it myself yet, so I don't know how the system will handle it. While that is true, i think Revelator uses the same arcade board as Sign, so there is no hardware difference.

They both sound fine to me. Like I said, it might had been the update or something. fsfsxii What is the arcade board? Is it really the same? You have to consider Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition was on the Taito Type X 2 while Ultra Street Fighter IV was on the Taito Type X 3. So one could easily think they both were on the same board, but they weren't. By the way, I find so cool that Ky Kiske, that one that represents Gamma Ray and Helloween end up as the king of the World because that means that Melodic Speed Power Metal won and that's my favorite Metal genre. Makes me want to play Lament Of Innocence with Helloween's Punkin mascot once again and listen to Better Than Raw, The Time Of The Oath, The Dark Ride, and Master Of The Rings.

I'm not entirely sure, but i think SF4's arcade port was a little bit different than console's, because it came for the consoles first, plus it had one of these quadruple machines iirc, so that would be what would warrant the hardware upgrade. Remember, that its speculation on my part. In the case of Xrd, i'm pretty sure of that.

stratogustavWait, did you not install the patches? I am 100% sure the sound is shit right now, and I'd be torn between being able to listen to the BGM or playing a balanced game.

I did install them. So either there is something going on with your hardware or you have super sensitive hearing, which will be very helpful for VR games.
