Arguably the best baseball game on the system. There are a lot of excellent baseball games, including Japan's exclusives, but the biggest consensus puts this one as the leading title in the genre. It also came at a time where sport games were starting to get huge, and this game also helped in its own way to that sports revolution.

Apparently, my suggestion of the week isn't that popular around these parts.

dschult3 - I don't think we have many fans of sports games around here. Now that I think about it, besides racing, I haven't bought any sports games since the late 90s. My newest one is probably NBA 98 for the Saturn.

My newest one is probably NBA 98 for the Saturn. I haven't purchased a sports game since NHL 99, so I'm with the forum as well. I guess I picked this game because of the hype surrounding it, and I have a bit of nostalgia for it, since I found a copy of it for my son at the flea market.

I got NBA Live 19 and NBA2K 19 last year. I'm not huge in Basketball, but those were $2.98 each, and I have a couple of friends that like Basketball, so I got them for that reason, and the price.
I think those are the only two Basketball games I have bought in my life.
However I do buy other sports games often. I have a bunch of PES, FIFA, Rally, and F1 games. One of my favorite games is focused around Volleyball too, and Sports Champions 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I also like the Wii Sports series, and Sonic Vs. Mario at the Olympic games.
