It is fucking awesome, and I can't possibly see how any other movie to be released this year can match it. No, really, this is medieval fantasy done right, even though no one who goes watch it expects it to be medieval fantasy at all; it was pretty funny listening to some mother telling her kids behind me "Oh!... But I think this movie is too violent for you... Are you sure you want to keep watching it?".
Now I want her VR set.

So, I thought Charlize was gorgeous in this one, her character is involved in actually elaborate fight scenes this time, and the actress' posture does her great service. Despite me praising her specifically, I think all the actors did a good job and all the main characters were interesting enough. Btw, some minor characters were also quite interesting... Those goblins, the first goblin specifically, has got to be the most terrifying goblin I've ever seen! It's like every goblin in this movie is either a Dragon's Dogma grimgoblin or a Dragon's Crown red cap goblin (maybe a mix of both). As for the story, I think it was better, but the lack of a more relatable character such as Snow White - seeing how almost everyone is too strong to be considered "normal" - may hurt the movie a bit in people's view of it, that's about the only thing I feel that isn't super on point.
