The world has gone mad. Footy's been cancelled, my rain forest retreat has been cancelled, there's talk of schools going online. The place where I work couldn't get enough bread out.
But ironically, we aren't confining ourselves to our homes.
I'm worried about what precedent it could set. People in Italy and Spain are in home detention quarantine. Violators are fined. How much will be sacrificed for "the common good"? Should I spend that money on that van yet?

scipioafricanus Food? Check, since the fires. First aid kits? Check. Bullets? Owning a gun is legal here, but not all that practical. Best I can do is a recurve bow, or a gel blaster with modified ammunition, but even that gel blaster could get you in hot water...because idiots. Spirit Bomb Footy = Football, Rugby League. I was going to go to a weekend retreat out in the bush, but that got cancelled because of you-know-what.

I actually have some kind of flu right now, it is definitely not COVID because the symptoms are very different. I don't have a congestion or anything.
For example the left side of my face feels numb, specially around the jaw and ear, but it is probably because of the small temperature, which is barely noticeable.
However I'm not sneezing or anything, also the lack of air is because the high altitude where I live, so it is just some of those random winter viruses.
Even if California wasn't on a mandatory curfew right now, I would still not go out because of this, and the snow.
Plus I have been watching movies a lot since I got my new 4K projector. On top of that I also feel extremely lazy to even get up right now. I'm good right here on my couch.
