LOL. luring girls with games never worked for me. I remember telling a girl that I read Comics and she gave me that look of "Oh no, You're not one of those are you?." Whatever the excuse is you don't bring it up as an invitation until it is time to go, you just slightly mention it during the night. I have brought girls home even with the excuse of showing them YouTube videos, so anything is fine really, all they need is an excuse.

I remember playing the Wii at almost every house party at the time. Lots of people got laid because of the Wii. It was one of the best excuses to bring girls home after the club. Those were ridiculous party times. I'll only believe that when I see it. In fact, video games might be too complex for your average chick.

I'll only believe that when I see it. In fact, video games might be too complex for your average chick. That was the beauty of the Wii, anyone was able to play it. I played a lot of Wii at random parties during 2007, and 2008. Wii Sports was indeed a success. I wasn't into games at the time. I stopped playing my PS2 around 2005. Then I finally got a Wii in 2011. I didn't even buy it, a chick gave it to me, I still have it, it still works fine, and I still used it as an excuse probably all the way into 2013 when it wasn't even popular anymore. If you want a modern version of this, any VR headset will do. It is the perfect excuse to bring girls home because it is still not as common, and not everyone has experience it, but like I said, any excuse is fine, all they need is to have a reason to not feel slutty for going to your place, because they know, they always know.

This was very common at the time. People were giving away their Wii left and right, which is a shame, if only they gave it a chance to look at the library of games the Wii had. For me the Wii was the last magical console. I got the same feeling with the Wii as I did with the Dreamcast which says a lot co considering the Dreamcast is my favourite console of all time.

What was weird this generation is that pretty much everyone shat on Nintendo for not knowing what to do with the Wii U. Many of it's third party exclusives just ended up being timed exclusives due to the poor sales. I'm not saying that it was a terrible console, but Nintendo sure made some awful and questionable choices, but then out of the blue the Switch becomes a massive success and the public just forgets about the Wii U's existence. Almost like it was erased from history. Review Tech USA made a good point on how a lot of people who bought the Wii did so because of curiosity or Wii Sports and nothing else which makes a lot of sense because most non Nintendo gamers who bought the console don't seem to be aware of the Wii's game Library out side of Mario Galaxy, Smash Brawl, Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports. They bought the console and played Wii sports a few times with friends and then it just sat there collecting dust. Ah yes, back when RTU was actually good.

This was very common at the time. People were giving away their Wii left and right, which is a shame, if only they gave it a chance to look at the library of games the Wii had.I was guilty of this. I actually didn't discover many titles in that library until a few years back, which was years after I got it. I remember even renting GoldenEye (the Activision remake with Daniel Craig), and beating it there because I was not willing to buy games for it yet. Funny thing, later I bought that game, but for the PS3, and I haven't even touched it yet. I have like four James Bond titles on the PS3 that I still need to play. A friend came over and finished one of those, but I haven't touched them myself, I feel it is about time I revisit those since I love the James Bond franchise in general. All this was before all those studios went into making all the current Call Of Duty series. Because Call Of Duty is so huge, that's all they do, and we haven't got another James Bond game since those.
