That's not negative, you are just showing concern.

From the beginning it was expected that 70% of people were going to get infected over time.

Unless there is a vaccine, which is hard to make safe, there is nothing we can do other than wear masks in crowded areas.

The key for governments is not to prevent people from getting infected, the key is to prevent people from getting infected at once.

The issue is that a small percentage of people gets in critical condition, but that small percentage is still a lot of people, when a lot of people are infected at once, and hospitals simply can't handle it.

Good thing, the amount of people that practices social distancing and wear masks, may be able to keep the numbers low in a steady fashion, but it is still a risk because not everyone in the West is as disciplined as the Asian people.
